An ambitious project, but so what? Who knows, I just might succeed this time. Haha!

2010 was a year filled with both good and not so good memories. The first half of the year was a roller coaster of emotions but I have no regrets. As they say, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Some highlights:
More work and a better career
It was no secret that I was looking for a new job for 2010 and to be honest I wasn’t expecting anything grand. I’ve learned through the years that it’s always better to hope than expect… less heart breaks that way. So I was surprised and delighted (of course!) when I was hired as a webmaster/dev at ECE. I’ve been doing freelance gigs but I didn’t imagine doing it fulltime. Big thanks to Gail, Ace, Junville, and everybody for the support! The workload is not something to scoff at but I’m having fun and that’s what counts right?

It’s that time of the year when we get to vote for our favorite blog, and this year my vote goes to a fellow dabawenya, Ate Ria of riajose.com.
Why?
Because she’s truly amazing. Really. She’s one of the best multi-taskers that I know. She writes and manages 10 or so blogs, she’s a chef, an event organizer, a great poker player, writer, and a wedding planner too.
I like how she writes fearlessly about her life (including her love life) and so my vote goes to Ate Ria. I hope she wins.

It’s the season to be merry but I’m not. This isn’t a good day, not at all. Just when I thought this project will be over came new requests, new stuff that I wasn’t even aware of. And all I could do is say yes, I’ll try my best. Sometimes it just ain’t good enough....
