There will always be stuff that I’ll prefer buying at the mall or the store but most of the time shopping online works, especially if I’m looking for a bargain or second hand gadgets. Take for example when I initially thought of buying a new phone. My nokia E72 phone still works but I’ve been wanting to upgrade since I heard about the new Nokia phones.

To upgrade, the plan is to sell my nokia e72 phone and then use the cash along with my mobile phone upgrade fund to purchase a new unit. I have no idea how much my phone will sell for in the market and looking at the listings in online buying sites gives me an idea or a ballpark figure as to how much I could sell my phone for. And most of the time I check out available listings in online buying sites as reference.

There are several online buying sites where you can buy & sell Philippines, making this task a pretty easy and hassle free thing to. Using the search feature, I key in nokia e72 as a search term and wallah, you have a list of all the phones for sale on the website. So I just pick one listing or I can also refine the search even further and then use that listing as a reference.

After which I create my own listing, publish it online and then wait for the inquiries and offers. If lucky, I could sell my phone in a day and while waiting I can of course start shopping online for the new phone that I want. You can also shop for other brands online of course. It’s just that I’m a big fan of the Nokia E series and I’ve been using a nokia phone since well… forever. It’s a popular brand here in the country and my experience with Nokia phones, especially the E-series phones have been good. So good that I don’t feel the need to switch to another brand.

It’s the belt that I’ve been lusting for but wouldn’t buy because it costs P350 at  the Glamour Boutique in Divisoria. Lol. I know, I know. I’m a cheapskate. I almost gave in because I really really wanted the belt but I’m glad I stopped myself because I found a similar belt at an ukay-ukay stall along Bolton St., Davao City.

At a hundred bucks, it’s definitely a steal. Oh, I haggled too so I only paid 90 pesos for this belt.

I bought a few pairs back in Davao with Llane and Rj but I wanted a new one and made a mental note to go to Glorietta the next day. While I was checking my email I noticed that I had an alert from Soak Swimwear, an invitation to their private sale. Ah, what perfect timing! I might not make it to their private sale on the 24th and 25th (Erson might resort to bashing me on the head if I miss another party) but I am planning to get one real soon. Most of the bikinis on line get sold right away, much to my chagrin. But, I was at The Ramp in Glorietta earlier and I saw the California Love there. I was about to go to the fitting room when the date arrived, so I had to go. Sigh. Oh well, there’s always a next time.
