No CommentsHeart and the baby bump
I have to admit… I am scared of taking portraits. I am used to taking travel photos and I’m not sure if it’s the right term but my style is pretty similar to documentary photography. Kind of natural I guess since my background is in photojournalism and anthropology. Portraits are of a different style entirely....

No CommentsWild flowers
I have a thing for wildflowers and I’ll never get tired of taking pictures of these wild beauties. Often times they’re small and I have to kneel down to get a closer look but I don’t mind. Looking at them evoke childhood memories of me and my cousins playing by the bay, creating sand cakes...

No CommentsI <3
Flew to Caticlan last weekend to hit the shores of Boracay and bond with my cousins. It rained and the waves were bigger than usual but I still had a blast. This is probably my shortest visit ever. I promised my cousins I’ll stay a bit longer next year. Piso fare, be kind to me!...

No CommentsCuteness overload
I de-stress by watching videos of dogs on youtube. Here are a few of my favorites. Dog videos never get old, they make me laugh each and every time. My friends often wonder when I’ll get tired of watching these vids, or when I’ll stop saying “I want a dog” (ok, I’ve been saying this...

Not even the prospect of facebook profile pics with the gorgeous shores of Malapascua as their background could entice my friends to wake up early. Lol. So off I went to...

No CommentsWeekend snapshots: Dinner at Dillingers 1903 Steak and Brew
Dillingers 1903 Steak and Brew is fast becoming a favorite of mine. Wingman stays on top of the list because it’s near our place but Dillinger is the first restaurant that comes to mind if I’m craving for buffalo wings and when I want to avoid the crowd (which is most of the time). No photos...

No CommentsBride at the Manila Bay
We were in a hurry to catch the sunset at Manila Bay after exploring intramuros and I guess it wasn’t just us. This bride, her groom, and their whole crew were there to take advantage of the picturesque sunset. This is the second time that I’ve seen the sunset at Manila Bay, a first with...

No CommentsPhotowalk on a Good Friday
It was hot and crowded. I think that’s what I’ll always remember about this year’s Good Friday. Instead of just staying at home and watching tv I was walking along the streets of Quiapo, under the hot sweltering sun, observing and documenting how people chose to spend Good Friday with my camera. I have been to Quiapo...
