I’m leaving in a few hours and as always I am super excited. It’s no secret that I’ve become addicted to traveling but this trip is kinda special. Davao City’s my hometown, it’s where I grew up and I’ll always feel giddy at the thought of going home to Davao. Another reason why I’m so excited is that I’m part of the Davao Food Appreciation tour this year. I joined the first DFAT, back in 2009, and it’s definitely one of the blogger events that I really look forward to.
So much has changed in Davao and my 2 week long stay during the Christmas holidays only whetted my appetite. There were so many places to see and restaurants to try! So yes, I’m going spend most of my time off from work eating and exploring Davao. Travel and food, the two go together perfectly just like wine and cheese, champagne and strawberries, and me and the beach (siningit talaga, lol!).
