Hibernation: a state of inactivity and metabolic depression in animals, characterized by lower body temperature, slower breathing, and lower metabolic rate, to conserve energy, especially during winter. Hibernation may last several days or weeks depending on species, ambient temperature, and time of year.
I will stay in hiding, no malls, well maybe a trip or two, and only for groceries and because I have a new spanking sm advantage card. Not that I know what the perks are in using it but what the hell, I might as well take advantage of it, after all it says SM Advantage card, haha.
I am not running away, I’ve done that already. I’m just hibernating, cutting myself off because I feel the need to. But what does hibernation mean for a 22 year old woman living on her own in Makati?
Hibernation means no going out, no more impromptu shopping sprees, well, save for trips to the grocery for supplies, and no communication with people who stress me out.
My regular job isn’t that toxic but add the freelance jobs I take on every now and then and I end up with 16 hour work days. I need to hibernate because I badly want that camera. Everything will come in second for now. :)
