It’s summer and it’s the perfect time to head to the beach, get a tan, and strut around in a bikini. I used to be scared of wearing bikinis or anything that fits like a glove because of scoliosis, scars, and what have you. Now that I’m older I’ve realized (finally) that beauty is how you perceive it to be. I may not have the waistline that I wanted, the healthy back that I’ve been longing for, or the flawless skin we all dream of, I effin don’t care. I feel beautiful. So with the new found confidence, I have revamped my closet–and welcomed dresses, mini skirts, short shorts, and bikinis. haha!
I bought a few pairs back in Davao with Llane and Rj but I wanted a new one and made a mental note to go to Glorietta the next day. While I was checking my email I noticed that I had an alert from Soak Swimwear, an invitation to their private sale. Ah, what perfect timing! I might not make it to their private sale on the 24th and 25th (Erson might resort to bashing me on the head if I miss another party) but I am planning to get one real soon. I just need to figure out what size fits me best.
Here are some of the styles I’ve been crushing on. ![]()
Summer Splendor (black)

California Love
Candy Aqua
Flirty Femme
Most of the bikinis on line get sold right away, much to my chagrin. But, I was at The Ramp in Glorietta earlier and I saw the California Love there. I was about to go to the fitting room when the date arrived, so I had to go. Sigh. Oh well, there’s always a next time. ![]()
