for two days now i’ve been trying to write a position paper on the proposed banning of fraternities and sororities in the up system. i should have finished writing it by now, but 48 hours and 30 minutes later im here, staring blankly at the pc and two paragraphs.
writer’s block? maybe, but i never believed in that shit. im lazy, i know that, my closest friends know that. but right now, i badly want to finish the position paper but i cant seem to move on.
the ideas are all swirling in my head, waiting to be immortalized, and yet i could not find the words, the sentences. damn it.
sometimes i’d like to clobber the s.r. pips fpr letting c. mendez die. if he didnt then that pesky roman would not have given the stupid memo, requiring us to write a position paper on why fratenities and sororities should not be banned.
then again, the memo is a testimony of roman’s paranoia. with all the controversies and unrest around her, she is all too willing to do anything to get the people back on her side. and now, she’s using the issue of hazing to decimate the fraternities and sororities in the up community.
like duh. who’s she kidding anyway? banning wont stop the rumbles, hazing, etc. it will only drive these organizations underground, and by then the state or the up system, for that matter, will have no hold on them at all.
