After a week of no tv, going home meant a reunion for me and the boob tube. while searching for my favorite tv shows, I noticed how this ad keeps on popping up even if I change channels every 10 seconds.

Channel 10: pangarap kong tuparin ang pangarap mo

How corny, I thought. Better switch channels.

Channel 12: Prospero Pichay, tutuparin ko ang pangarap mo.

So, the goddamn rich politician’s name is prospero pichay. What an ugly name.

poknat na, says my sister. So I switched to 10 again.

Channel 10: pichay, itanim sa senado.

What the… the man wants us to plant vegetables in the senate? Oh right. His name’s pichay. God. I hope he doesn’t win. We have enough problems with the banana and pineapple plantations as it is. A pichay plantation will only make matters worse. Given the money he spends for the commercials, I know for sure that this one would be starting his own ‘pichay plantation’ the minute he sits down as senator.
